Argus RF Forum for Argus RF nuts. The American made Argus C-3 may be the most prolific rangefinder, with over 3 million cameras produced! While American RF nutz of the 1950's may have yearned for a Leica, Zeiss, Canon or Nikon, most of them used an Argus !

Argus Day 8-11-11

I shot two cameras for Argust day this year (it was on the 11th, since this is 2011), a C-3 Colormatch, and a 520 see through. The brick (loaded with Fuji Superia Reala 100) was an auction house find given to me by my oldest brother the last time I was home, and I picked up the 520 (Kodak BW400CN) in a flea market for $1.

Love the gift brick, as it's in better shape than the other five I own. The 520? Well, it looks cool.

See for yourself:

I took my C3 Matchmatic out on August 11 too. These are the most pasable ones from the roll. Please excuse my poor scans (someday I'll get an Epson V700) and blame the scratches on a devil-may-care Costco minilab operator...

And an accidental double exposure

Those are nice Stratcat. Your rangefinder is right on target. Okay, we need some more added to this thread.
