Scored a "broken" 210 off of ebay for a buck, turned out to be a simple fix. Bummer that Fuji upped the price by $6 a pack since the last time I looked for the film, though. . .

Sorta into it but the finish on the prints makes them super hard to scan. Thanks for looking everyone.

I love my 210. The colors are vibrant, and the film typical high-quality Fuji. I buy the 100-shot 10-pack specials off of Amazon, for about 80 cents per shot.

Don't know what Roger's complaining about. Polaroids are great and the Fuji Instax, apart from being a comically weird camera, makes some nice pictures. My girlfriend got one for herself and she's loving it. And frankly, ever since she got one I've been contemplating getting one for myself.

they are pretty fun dude, go for it if you can score one. I sorta can see what Roger is saying $60+ is steep for what you get but like you say, they are fun!

$60 is nothing compared to the $160 they go for around here (partly currency related). It's really not so much the price of the camera but the price of the film. I have a Polaroid 350 I like to use with Fuji peel apart instant film but I always have to order it in bulk from the US. It's $7.50 at B&H and $45 at the local store.

I was joking. At $1, who cares? It's worth the gamble.

Actually, I rather like Polaroid (apart from the cost of the materials). I have several Polaroid cameras and a ridiculous number of Polaroid backs, plus a 'Lyubiloid', a camera I made years ago by grafting a Polaroid back onto a Lybitel TLR.

The trouble is, my favourites died with Polaroid: Sepia and 55 P/N. But years ago I actually did a piece for the BJP on shooting New York with integral-film Polaroids.

55 p/n was insanely nice, I was lucky enough to get a box with a camera purchase once. RIP peel apart.

Yeah the bw Polaroid stuff was really nice. I still got a couple of rolls of 35mm Polapan bw instant slide film. Weird but beautiful stuff. Also still have a twin pack of 667 peel apart which I find much nicer than Fuji's ISO 3000 offering.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to use 55p/n. It does seem, though, that Polaroid was better at the bw emulsions. Never liked the color peel apart from Polaroid.

I agree, Fuji color peel apart is really great. My son got 100 packs of type 667 which he gave me and I am now working my way though them. Any trades out there.

Really? I feel the opposite, that Fuji peel apart is pretty nasty compared to Polaroid that has kept well. The Instax film is surprisingly nice though, a little blue, but not what I had expected from Fuji.

Well, the colors are a little over the top with Fuji (skins tones are pretty close though, and better), but I get consistent results and the developer pod seems to be way superior to Polaroid. Which means not as many lost images because of messed up developing. Besides, it is a moot point as Polaroid colors is gone, Fuji thank you Fuji, is all that is left.

Fuji color peel apart (FP-100C) can tend to be a bit on the cool side but other than that its color reproduction is pretty good. Even when you could still get Polaroid 690 I would always get Fuji as the Polaroid colors were just too wacky. Fuji's version is just more accurate and consistent IMO, while Polaroid's 690 let alone 669 was much more 'experimental'.

Unique Photo has the best prices I've seen. That's where I buy my Instax Wide.

Well said Jamie, it was tough to find decent polaroid a few years ago when I had the means to shoot it, can't imagine how frustrating it is now with all the hoarding and price gouging.
