Camera Centre.ie have it on their website for €899 including 2Gb card and case, April availability...

Will be interesting to see how the lens performs when the reviews come in.

When Fuji announced 'final' pricing some UK sites wrote £899 then quickly updated to £999. You can see the £899 in cached versions online... anyway the standard pre-order UK price has been £999, but recently both Amazon UK and Calumet Photo (now out of stock) have it listed for £899.

£899 is more in line with international pricing + 20% VAT. Hopefully other stores will match the recent drop.

Clifton cameras are checking with Fuji on Monday to see if they can match Amazon's price in the UK. Seems bizarre how there is a lack of consistency with pricing even in 'rip off' Britain.

Hmmmmmmm, Clifton Cameras are telling me their initial X100 shipment covers my pre-order, which should arrive late next week. But the price is £999

or I cancel that pre-order and wait a month to get it from Amazon at £899.

My brain says wait but my heart says buy the damn camera already

Yes, seen that a while back, which prompted me to start this thread. I'm not entirely convinced this will be the final € price in Ireland, as the camera centre is on Grafton Street in Dublin (the highest rent shopping street in Ireland), with their normal stock usually carrying a premium.

My supplier is doing it for £899. I've pre-paid £999 already, so I said I'd meet them half way and have the hood.

Yes, suspect price in Europe will be €999 or €1,099. Nice camera, but not sure if I have a grand for a camera at the moment..
