Flash and Slide Film

After a couple rolls of underexposed film, I finally got Kodachrome and flash to work well when I set my ISO on my flash (a Metz 36 C-2) to ISO 41, which is 2/3 overexposed.

Now that Kodachrome is in the history books, I'll have to start using other slide film.

Does overexposing (via flash ISO setting) by 2/3 stop work well with other slide films?

Wouldn't be uncommon, You're adjusting the flash(determining EI) the same way as though you're finding your base film speed. With a new film it may need 1/3 stop. Just test a few frames on one roll of film. You know what makes you happy so +/- 1/3 should very well work for you.
