Disassemble Canon 50/1.8 newest style

Anyone know how to disassemble the newest style canon 50/1.8

I find it softer than my Canon 50/1.9 (reshimmed by my Camera guy) and my J3 (reshimmed by me) lenses wide open. I've collimated several lenses before and set body flanges. It is just as sharp or better at 4.0 and narrower.

I am afraid to attack this lens without knowing what I am doing.

Thanks,
Lance

Lance,

I would ask Kim Coxon - he rebuilt one for me and it was great

Just for shimming it's pretty simple. Just remove the rear span ring, take focusing and optical barrel apart and you can access the shim.
