Stunning shots Mablo, and good use of tones.

Something nice just happened to me. Before picking up the RC from which these photos above came, I had bought another one through the evil bay. That one seemed to be a lemon. Completely stuck, nothing moved, just like a brick. I was disappointed, not so much for the money lost (20€) but because I wanted a nice working RC.

A few months passed by and one day I bought another RC. This time I wanted to make sure that it was working before I paid for it (30€).

For some reason I just happened to take the old broken RC out of the closet and I was just fiddling with it and looking for the similarities between these two RCs. Then bang! The camera suddenly came back to life! Wow!

Maybe it just wanted some company, who knows. Now I have two beautifully working RC's. I think it's wise not to try to separate them from each other. Maybe they'll play dead again

Thes pictures are great. They have a vintage look, similar to Walker Evans´ photos.
I had a 35RC in 1991, given to me by a friend and dead too. I never brought it to life. Today I found one on a local fleamarket for 5,-Euro, working and clean. Many Germans are crazy for the newest digitals and sell their film cameras for nearly nothing.

I love the old school grittiness this lens produces. It brings out the grain in the wood.

Passed the test. You tried close range shots?

Many thanks for your kind words. I love this little camera. I haven't tried anything close range yet with the RC but I will soon. I'll let you know.
