Strap and hood option

A while back, I ordered an alligator-style clip strap for my 2.8E off of Ebay for $35 or so. It wasn't as pictured; much skinnier with a crappy pleather neck "pad". (I think the one pictured was the one from the link below, even though it's not what they sent me...)

But it was stolen out of my luggage on my last flight--no great loss. To replace it, I tried this:

Wow. Great strap, especially for the price! Much more substantial and nicer to use than the last one. And you have clips you can re-purpose with another strap if necessary.

They also do a very inexpensive Bay III lens hood which I found perfectly find in use, and looks like they might have other sizes too...just search "rollei lens hood" on Amazon.

Recommended if you're looking for this sort of thing.

Is it the hood metal or plastic? I need one for my rollei 3.5 F, but I prefer a metal one !

It's metal, or, at least my Bay III is.

Edit: Glad I qualified that.

Review says it's plastic on this Bay II variant.
