G1 + FW 1.4 .. focusing problems?

As title says.. I´ve upgraded FW of G1 today to 1.4 and.. whops, sometimes it doesn´t autofocus properly to close items.. which wasn´t problem before..

Plus now it has problems with focusing in low light.. kinda funny when you consider that this FW should improve exactly this. Not much funny when you need it..

First problem behaves like this..

You select smallest (or small) area of focus.. try to focus and whops it says its focused, but its still blured.. or.. it focus in red (which should mean that its too close.. but it isn´t.. I have G1 for long enough to know how much is too close). Sometimes just can´t focus at all.. focusing forward and back..

Wierd.. wierd.. any way to flash it back to 1.3? (or better.. 1.2)

Yea.. confirmed now, I checked my today photos and really wish that I wouldn´t upgrade that at all.. FW 1.4 makes G1 auto-focusing worth nothing.. Just great.. Damn you Panasonic..
