Since there are members from all over the world on RFF, with many diverse local, and family, traditions I've been wondering what your New Years Day traditions might be. Here in this part of South Carolina, the traditional New Years dish consists of black-eye peas, collard greens, and corn bread. As I understand it, this dish comes by way of western Africa.
