Yeah, you best grab one when you see one, they aren't very common.

The IIIA or IIIM would be costlier usually.

I have a III and it is great camera ,enjoy .... I see the III IIIA IIIM often enough in the camera stores here in Japan ..... apparently the lubricant is prone to dry out and ay need a CLA . Mine was CLA'd by Weber but it ended up not working after about 6months , the shutter mechanism sticks ... should get it fixed ..... anyway great lens and excellent feeling in the hand .

Got my test roll done today, shot some old 200 gold

It looks like it is pretty sharp . And yes the close focus and frame line can be a challenge. May try an external find with parallax adj.

1st image was at min focus 3 feet ,did not get it centered but it looked like it was.

2nd image of my old truck after it was rolled by my 18 year old. it 's all good no one was hurt.

3rd image is of the new truck.

Again this does look , and may well be my fav. rangefinder cam.

I've got about half a roll through my new IIIA. I have to say, it's been more of a pleasure to shoot than I anticipated.
