This is the forum to discuss optics or lenses in general, to learn about the tech behind the lenses and images. IF you have a question about a specific lens, post it in the forum about that type of camera, NOT HERE.
Has anyone done a test or just a comparison to see which fast 35s - M or LTM mount - are most resistant to flare? I have used two Summiluxes - pre-asph and asph second version - but have not tried others. I need a fast lens that doesn't flare horribly with light sources in the frame; f 2.0 and slower won't do.

I've seen lots of images from the Nokton 1.2 with light sources inside the frame, and there's no flare: I have never seen it to that level in any other lens, especially in fast lenses...
both noktons 1.4 (MC and SC) will show circular flare
nokton 1.2 is extremely resistant to flare
ultron 1.7 is more resistant to flare than the 1.4 noktons but not as resistant as the 1.2 nokton
