I haven' tried the optional hoods.
But as you said , I think they are to big and influence the rangefinder view.

Hello,
compared to the orginally hood, is there a real benfit from the extra available lens hoods for the Nokton 1.2 35mm (LH 6) and the Nokton 1.1 50mm (LH 7).
Or is it only a " cooler"...

I use the 40mm Nokton with my Leica M2.
Or get a Bessa T for the 15mm Heliar.
