Noticed a few at the register of a local (Lowell, MA) Marshall's yesterday. Boxes looked beat up, didn't look inside. Price was $14.99 each.

I'd say pass. They're very common and the price is on the high side. If you haven't done any developing it's a cart before the horse kind of approach, anyway.
