Agree with you there, the shutter lag is bad and I find the MF useless myself.

Best thing about it is the low price it goes for now and the low price of its great lenses.

Much better than my first attempt! Ilford sells d-76 in liquid form , I think its called ID-11, if you want to give that a try. It might be a better match for the TX and is just as easy to use.

Pros:
Sharp as a tack, contrasty, a great buy, excellent value for only 2 or 3 hundred dollars.

Cons:
AF a little slow, noisy.

I have this lens and highly recommend it.
