The truth! I've had a GR1 and currently own a GRD3. Really great cameras. No way I would consider the Coolpix A. If the GR sucks (which it won't!), I'd just keep using the GRD3.

Main thing is the size of the thing. GRD is small and awesome. Any increase in size would kill it for me. If i was concerned about resolution I'd go with the Merrill's.
