I looked at those then went back and looked at CR's images and I have to say Ming Thein's images don't do a lot for me ... maybe it's the post processing but they seem harsh and overly contrasty....

I can't see any reason for Cosina to discontinue the Bessa range. All the development costs are history and they can just keep churning them out as required in whatever quantity satisfies the market.

Even wet cleaning is no biggie ... the surface of a sensor is a lot tougher than people would lead you to believe.
