I like the 35/2 a lot, and find the 50 1.4 just as good as the 1.4 most other manufacturers produced. OK at 1.4, really sharp at f2.

indeed, Kentmere 400 dries flat when Tri-X doesn't. It seems less sensitive to humidity. For Tri-X to dry flat I have to fill the bathroom with steam, with HP and especially Kentmere I can skip that.

the real optical resolution is said to be slightly less than the advertised 5300 dpi, more like 4500 or so, and if you downsize the image slightly, you will notice the 100% crops...
