This is the Hindu temple in Singapore's Little India. I went down there a couple of weeks ago just to waste some time while my wife was out of town. Unbeknownst to me it was the festival of "Holy" - without the throwing of coloured powder - so a little more action than usual These were some shots from then: M2, Tri-X and 21mm Asph Elmarit for the first two & 35mm Asph Lux for the second.
The first two are good examples of where I find the Voigtlander angle finder invaluable...

Wonderful set of photo Craygc. In my country they not allow to take a photo inside the temple. There is one day in every year that they will have celibrate around the temple (whic I always can't remember the date and try to wait for the next event)

Thanks Kun Anat... This partucular temple seems to be a tourist attraction all year. The hardest part about shooting in it is keeping the non-Indians out of frame :D I have more of these I will post later once I get around to scanning them.

Three recent shots (click to see bigger versions)

1. Urbis, Manchester (Rolleiflex 2.8f, Tri-X 400)

2. Clacton Pier (Rolleiflex 2.8f, Tri-X 400)

3. Blackpool Pier Darts, (Rolleiflex 2.8f, Tri-X 400)

Also, I've started to re-organize my Flickr account, so it should be easier to find stuff. I'd be interested in getting some feedback.
Thanks,
Jack.

Irony: My Recovery Dollars at Work
The federal government using our tax dollars to remove an old house in the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. The house had been in use in recent years as a bookstore sponsored and owned by the Department of the Interior, the Fish & Wildlife Service, and specializing in nature books. Part of the mission of this refuge is to return things to nature, so I suppose this is progress of a sort. It is possible that the government might be funding a new structure on the same site. In any case, just a bit of visual, if not actual irony.
