Very nice camera indeed! |
Thanks Menos! I've wanted one since the day they were announced. I need it like a hole in the head but I'm really pleased so far :)

can one ever own enough auxiliary viewfinders and other shoemount gizmos?
![]() ![]() M2 is wearing a CV II Meter and Tewes VF, both on a CV double shoe adapter, with a Summitar and nifty barndoor hood and the famous Mr. Soft Release (RIP, Mr. B) ... the IIIf has a Summaron with hood (appropriately dented and dinged) and a 35 Canon VF. The M8 has a Canon 50/1.4 with matching hood and, for no practical reason whatsoever, a Kobalux 21 and CV 15 VF (both on a Thumbs Up double shoe). Completely silly. |

I know, I know.... but probably not a good idea to give me any ideas or encouragement here. Best that I stop before I shop again. Though, my wife, noticing the barndoor hood earlier today said, "that looks cool." A comment that was thankfully not followed by any questions about what it cost (it was cheap).

It's a Zeiss hood. It's a Voigtlander finder, however. |
Just feeling good.

Here is my M6 Classic. Well, was my M6 Classic. I recently sold it to a fellow forum member and am going throigh major withdraws being Leicaless. I'm on the hunt for a BPMP, so hopefully it won't be long.

The strap is a Gordy in russet brown and white thread, custom made at 130 cm. Got it yesterday in the mail. http://www.gordyscamerastraps.com/ |
It's here, it's here :D
What a nice camera! The frustration is, the Leitz adapter I bought from the net didn't arrived yet and I don't have any M lens to put on it :bang: What a beauty. One super small ding on the top and a small dent on the door. Looks like the curtain is like new, all speeds are correct, viewfinder is veeeery bright :) Will shoot the hell out of it once I put a lens on. Sorry for the crappy photos I made with my cell... My new Noctilux f/1.2, it look so similar to my transition model summilux 50mm!

Just got back my M4-P today from Youxin. He did a brilliant job. Now I have it paired with a newly bought 2nd-hand CV Ultron 28/1.9 (from last Saturday's Matsuya Ginza camera show).
Also seen here is the 28/3.5 Skopar sporting the LH-1 hood. ![]() |
My first Leica... :)
