What adapter are you using? I'm considering my first M body and should have an adapter from Amedeo coming anyday. BTW, I just started to view this thread from the end and came across your collection. Impressive!

Thank you!

I am using the Japanese "new type" Nikon S to L39 adapters. Please refer to the following Cameraquest page on adapters.

http://www.cameraquest.com/adapter.htm

However, I purchased it at 2002 and don't know whether they are still available now. Please note comment by Cameraquest that they are discontinued in 2004. I know they appear in second-hand market from time to time but becomes expensive and sold quickly.

Where did you get it repainted? I was thinking about doing something like this.

Had two M6s, sold the black chrome. Silver chrome had much smoother advance. Not sure if I'll eventually move to a 2 MP setup or not. Ixmoos yano.

Chrome has 35 Asph Summicron and bp MP has 21 Elmarit w/finder and black paint TA Rapidwinder on the bottom.

Looking good. I'm happy you have brought this camera to a place that you seem content with. Good luck with it.
