You can't screw it tightly on this lense, but they really match.
I find no darkness on the edge of photo.

I see even with the new MP, they still haven't improved the black paint since the M6? Is that a bubble I see on the top surface (Below the Leica - L)?

I was wondering the same thing when I saw that, could it be dust, junk, or paint bubbles? Hard to say.

They look like Gordy's straps to me.

Seeing that mint 35 'cron makes me want to cry! I sold mine to help get an M8 and will regret it to the day I die. I won't tell you how much I got for it because that will probably make you ALL cry.

hi, it's not a bubble, it's a dust or something.:D
But I got many bubbles on my R4s:bang:

Here`s my 1987 M6 Black Chrome, that`s had a pretty pampered life, covered by black electrical tape most of the time and has only recently had it removed while very soon she will be "traded" for a rare screw mount Leica

My Leica M6 has come *full circle* I traded a very small screw mount collection
(2 mint IIIFST`s and 1 *pretty uncommon and rare* near mint IIFBD with some lenses)
in Frankfurt Germany for her in 1994 and entered the world of M Leica`s, shooting mostly color slide film for cross-processing with it

Now I`m trading her for the start of another screw mount collection, the collecting "bug" has bitten me bad again.......but I`m sure there`s another M Leica in my future, maybe a very beat up orignal M2 Black Paint...

Once bitten by Leica RF's, you are never done. It's called GAS.

BTW, nice looking camera.

AND you've got your Soft Release. So, of course you're done! ;)

Oh, if only it were that easy... :p

I'm probably one of the youngest M owners around here at seventeen and I'm so overjoyed having worked hard on the streets (literally for the most part) to be able to present my camera finally in a form I'm truly happy with.
I don't have the income or money (anymore) to support any GAS and as such I hope to avoid such an illness for a few years at least.
I also fear I'm one of the last generations to get into film photography and all the joy that the darkroom brings but I sure am happy I didn't miss the boat.

I do like the black chrome once it gets 'broken in', and this one is beautiful.

Just thinking to day that my m7's are finally beginning to show a little bit of use on their chrome. I guess I'm finally starting to shoot enough!

You're a bad ass when it comes to your gear, we know. However what we're all interested in is how your Leica looks at a 46deg angle facing the 7pm summer sun?

aizan 06-17-2007 15:54

i definitely wouldn't get a leica if it weren't for good looks. so yeah, more porn!
