Just got my first M a few days ago. It's a bit beat up but I don't mind, the mechanicals seem to be fine. Can't wait to go shooting. Here is a pic with my Jupiter 8.

That's a really nice combo and I'd love to get that lens one day. At the moment, I am using the 35/1.4 pre-asph version.

Welcome … and … how can you NOT shoot them?

Vackert Antti, vackert.

I'm regretting selling the 21/f4, it and the 50/2.5 look very much like your 35. I think the smaller lenses look particularly good on an M.

Rogrund 08-17-2011 00:53

Thanks, Eirik! :)

jsrockit 08-18-2011 03:52

Your M9-P is already brassing? or is that a reflection?

mbohara 08-18-2011 09:45

My little do everything camera. Cellphone photos look so strange:

Please excuse low-res iPhone pic but I'm sure you can see past the lack of focus

I sold you that grip lol (ebay) Nice to see where it ended up.

Peter_Jones 08-19-2011 13:17

Small world, Chris. :) I'll say Hi next time I get a chance to pop into the shop.

It does the job well, and feels better than a Leica grip. (Even more so now the s/h price of M grips seems to have doubled!)

what grip is that?... does it come in black, and will it fit a M6?

chrishayton 08-19-2011 13:35

Yeh I bought it only for sizing up for a home made grip that Im still in the process of making. We have an M grip at work which I like from the shape but its plastic and just puts me right off.
Yes would be nice to match a face to a name. I have probably served you a few times if you've been in for Leica bits

chrishayton 08-19-2011 13:38

Its a GMP grip and yes to both questions about fit and colour

Beano_z 08-19-2011 20:44
