Sold the M4-P to a fellow Canuck, West Coast BC Man and RFF'er - Yes, it's Thomas. So all I'm down to is this one special M and my 50 and 35mm lenses. (For MF I still have a Hassy and Autocord)

shh, don't tell, but I had a spare red dot sticker from my M6 and I put it on my M2. I really like the look.

maddoc 05-12-2011 22:25

Cool !! A "red-dot M2" !! So ... Thomas is now owner of an M4-P ?? :D

Some recent shots of my m3 and 50mm rigid......as beautiful as this combo is, for some strange reason, I am actually contemplating selling this set up to a local photographer out here in Bangkok (it would be his first Leica).......to be honest, I hardly ever use my m3, my m6ttl and m2 see most of the action.......but this combo is so freaking sweet that I am having second thoughts about it.......I took this set up out today and just loved it, the pure simplicity of a 50mm on an m3 is really nice, but my m2/35mm and m6/28 have been my main work horses for the past couple of years....anyways, I need some time to think.......

My lovely new M2

As my first post here, I'd like to share my little beauty...

Just got this one 3 weeks ago for 165 euro (225 usd) so I think I did a good deal :)

Bought a brand new leather strap for it and the first roll of T-Max 400 has already passed the darkroom... I'm discovering a brand new world again!

time for a classic M3 + 50mm Summilux. So, what's special? The Summilux serial is in the range before the "official" production. It's from 1958 pre-production run of 1400 lenses. XOOIM hood included.

I have this same exact combo. Found the Rigid 'cron in mint new condition. No haze, scratches or anything. I couldn't bring myself to sell them.
