MP with my 'new' late German made 35 'lux, iPhone snap. Yes, the original box says 'made in Canada' - so must have been left-over stock sent back from Midland to Leica in Germany.

:o, the lens engraving, test certificate and papers (glued to the bottom of the box) all confirm 'Made in Germany'. I did read somewhere that components left over from Midland might have been assembled back in Germany for the 75 'lux, but I don't know if this applied to other lenses too.

It's really neat to see how many of us use some of the same equipment for our Fotos.

interesting set-up, opting for a meter instead of a finder when using a 50 on an MD. now that's shooting from the hip.

after leaving my gear on this table after shooting at the shore for most of the summer, it finally occurred to me that the view from under the table might be more interesting than from above.

not really using the md2 with either the meter or the 50mm. use the md2 with 15mm heliar & viewfinder. the russian, that one goes on my m8 :)

Ah, well, here it is again! My chrome M8, paired with its new-to-me 28mm f/2.8 Minolta M-Rokkor. Great combo, loving it! :-)
