A couple of years back me and my wife went to visit some Caves in KY, USA. I used RD1S and CV 35/1.2 that time. I posted some pics here on RFF and they can still be found here:

Well, this weekend we went back to see some of those caves. This time I used CV Ultron 35/1.7 with RD1S at ISO 1600. all pics at F1.7 to 2.
Here are some pics (I think Ultron and RD1s are still very worthwhile tools):

That Ultron really is the ticket when the lights are low - nice work

These photos are sensational! Great color, sharpness, with very even lighting. Terrific lens this Ultron.

Those are *cleaaan* for ISO 1600. Makes my d200 look sloppy in comparison. I had no idea the RD1 could shoot so well in poor light!

Thanks for the comments. I think Ultron 35/1.7 is a superb lens - just like most of the original CV RF lenses - most were ltm, plus a few M, like CV 35/1.2.
And now that I have my Ultron modified to focus down to 0.7m - it's quickly becoming my favorite lens.:
