A recent post concerning collapsible Sonnar lenses made me question my Carl Zeiss Jena collapsible .
It came with a fair Contax III , now restored , and will be a key player in my Contax adapted Leica M8 .
It certainly makes the Contax II more compact .
I assumed that this lens is quite common , but is this not so ?

The collapsible 5cm f2 Sonnar is probably the most common of the pre-war 5cm lenses for the Contax RF. The Tessars seem to be less common than the F1.5 and F2 Sonnars, using number of available lenses on Ebay as a measure.
