I just finished mixing A and B Diafine solutions and shooting bulk loaded APX100. Diafine lists this film at ISO 320 and the on-line massive development chart indicates ISO 200. Does this mean I should shoot the film at either suggested ISO figures instead of the usual ISO 100?

Thanks for any information!

that is correct you override DX and tell the camera to use the film at the other speed.

If I was you I'd waste a short roll and shoot 100, 200, 320, 400 - empty- 100, 200, 320, 400
and develop.

See which of the "speeds" look best in Diafine and use that speed.

I think shots are contrastier the closer you shoot to 100, and if you meter at 200 things seem smoother and there is more shadow detail. At least this is what I have noticed. I usually just meter for some ISO in the middle. Like most black and white films, APX can tolerate overexposure well.

BTW, I really like diafine + APX

I have used a lot of this film and Diafine. I like to use it at 160 to 200 depending on the contrast of the scene. A nice film developer combination, I think you will like it.
