View Full Version : BIG LENS, small body
Just got a Nikon "G" to NEX adapter. I can confirm that is works perfectly with a G lens.
Here it is in action with a 70-200mm and 1.4x teleconverter and a NEX5 hanging on for dear life.

Yes....but not out of their pocket ;P
it seems you found a very expensive rear cap for your g lens :D

No autofocus. As far as aperture control, I can see that the aperture is changing when I rotate the ring on the adapter since the image on the LCD brightens/darkens accordingly. However, I do NOT know what the actual aperture is for a given shot. I haven't checked the EXIF data to see if the aperture is recorded.
It IS a monstrosity with such a large lens, but seriously, the primary reason I bought the adapter is to be able to use ONE body with a Nikon macro lens, M-mount lens and still retain AF capability with the native NEX kit lens.
