Repair recommendations UK specific

There have been a few threads on CLA & repair but I couldn't find any UK specific recommendations.
I'm looking for a big repair job not a CLA. It is an S and will need a complete shutter assembly but obviously not at a cost exceeding a replacement camera :rolleyes:

Chris you could give Malcolm Taylor a call 01568 770542. He's one of the best! I imagine he does Nikon as well as Leica.

The only thing he can't deal with are electronics and printed circuit boards. He's very much a mechanical and optics expert.

Yeah you always have to factor in the addition to the phone bill to the cost of repair when calling Malcolm :D He's always up for a chat.

Keith Leedham repaired my OM4 and I got it back better than ever. I'm sure he'll do RF's no problem. Helpful advice, good prices, really fast turnaround and spot on repairs. He never looks at his email much as he's a bit of a computerphobe, so if you get no response, better to phone (Monday to Friday). Honestly, it'll be worth it.
