took some shots with the 50/1.1 on the rd1 and my little g1 too...these are sharper than the ones taken on the rd1s...

If the last pic is the g1, then it looks very sharp Joe.
But they all look good on the computer screen.
Cute dog.

focus was on the eyes for all of them
last one was g1, i think it stands out because it's colour and her eyes are a striking brown
she is cute, eh?

And I thought my Joe dog was hairy!
You must have fun untangling that lot!

i have 2 of 'them' and i keep them short...with regular visits to the groomers!
CLAs, tuneups, groomers: Joe, do you own anything that does not require maintenance?
I like the G1 shot as well.

nope, not even me...i go the docs every 3 months to have the ticker checked along with the bp and blood sugar levels...
i rarely have trouble with the camera gear though so this will be a traumatic experience for me...i am about to pack up the rd1s and ship it off.
and when it comes back i think i'll do the same for body #2 and then i should be a-ok for awhile.
the good thing in all this is that the lenses are fine and my shakey hands were not to blame for the blurry images that i have been getting.

thanks keith!
some good news i guess is that the g1 along with adapter and m lenses works like a champ.
Looking good Joe! At least you have another R-D1 to use whilst the R-D1s gets adjusted. Just put in a note to remind them to keep the frame lines parallel to the horizon during adjustment. Once in a while, it goes off when things are getting fixed.
