Cap size for Elmar 50

Hi all,

Regarding the Elmar 50/2.8 at the tail end of the lens classifieds - anyone know what size cap this needs? I could probably find one on ebay if I know what to look for.

Filter size was E39.

The Elmar is E39 or 39mm filter and A42 cap size.
