Hi

I was curios on how the nice small panny performs compared with the very best Leica lens on the GF1:)

Here is it:

Different angle, flame shape, exposure, and magnification makes not for a valid comparison, sorry.

So true but that Lumix lens is good considering it comes with the camera.

Yes. I am really surprised how good the 20mm panny is. It is worth the money. The pictures are taken by GF1 with its automatic settings for the lenses. I really like the panny lens.

I'm not sure but if I look at my receipts.... the Panny is a little less money than the Lux...
Not that there's anything wrong with that....

To be sincere, I stopped using my Leica glass cause it's soooo nice on the Pen's, that I stopped using the dedicated glass.
I'm very happy with Panny 20mm......

All I can say is Panny 20mm is one damn good lens in a tiny package. :D
