Will the cordless battery pack from a Nikon F also work on a S-36 motor drive, when that drive is on a Nikon S3 or SP?

I'm just curious.

The S36 is a different physical size than the F36. I have the latter. Jacobson made a cordless pack for the S36. I think it is extremely rare and hence, expensive.

Be sure to post pictures of the S36 on the camera and coffee page!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I don't have a S36.

I was just thinking about what new directions for my RF GAS. Not that I'm done getting P lenses, but one or two more and I will be, since I only want a few.

The directions I've been thinking about are Leica M and Nikon RF. The motor drive is a consideration. I'm pretty much hooked on motor drives for my SLRs, and I'd like to have the option for my RFs. But a drive tethered to a remote battery pack doesn't sound too handy. Hence my question.

As much as I'm fascinated with the Nikon RFs, I guess I'm leaning toward the Leica M's, probably a M6 or M4/M4-P. I'm not a collector, this stuff will go out and get shot with.

The Nikon S36 motor drive is extremely rare and will cost more than an M7 with a motor drive.

The M7 with a motor drive would make more sensr, especially in auto mode. You may also look at a trigger winder, with practice they are fast.
