View Full Version : Looking for a full case for an M-camera
Any thoughts or suggestions?
I'm looking for a full case for my M4, but I have the Voigtlander 50mm Nokton F/1.1 which is much bigger than most lenses. I want a full case to house the camera with lens and a viewfinder on it, like this one:

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
i remember that one of the leica cases is available in either long or regular "nose" lengths to accomodate various lens types. look for 14871 in a recent (M7 or MP) catalog - maybe it will work on your m4.

Like Rick said. If you want to buy new, see here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/663140-USA/Leica_14876_Eveready_Case_M_with.html
14871 and 14876 come up used on ebay sometimes, usually around US 150 or less.
They are very well made but will not fit the viewfinder through. Maybe a Neoprene case if you want room for this as well ?

I'm using a Leica half case on my M8 with a Nikon CS-9 soft case over it. I can leave the 90/2 Summicron or 10.5cm F2.5 Nikkor on the M8 and get the CS-9 over it. Same idea should work for a Film M camera.

Looking for a case full of M-cameras...
I'm using Leica Neoprene case (rarely put it on) to house my M6 + ZM 50/2.0 and there's still plenty of room at the front.
SlackerZombie, that too!
I really want a leather case more than neoprene right now. One of the guys mailed me with a case he has that might fit the bill, and I emailed Luigi to see if he makes (or can make) a full case like that one I linked to. I'll post Luigi's reply when I get it for anyone interested. Those Leica cases look good too so I'll keep those as an option as I find all the options I can.
Thanks gang!
Well, I'm a dumb arse! Luigi makes a full case too, I just didn't look far enough down his case page to see it. I'm going to pick up one of those from him also. :D
If Luigi's full case is in budget, you might like this one, too:

Thanks, I'll check those out too!
