I recently visited cameraleather.com and noticed that they have supplies for Yashica G-series rangefinder.
Just wondering has anyone here changed his/her Yashica's leather?
What types/colour of leather do you think are good for our Yashicas?
Any photos of Yashica in sexy self-replaced leather for show? ;)

I just put new leather on a Japanese 'Frank' folding 6x6 camera (not a Franka, a Frank). I bought a pair of ladies leather boots at Goodwill and cut them up. Used acetone to clean the camera body after I had pulled the old leather off, and used contact cement to stick the new leather on. Cost me three bucks and some really funny looks at the Goodwill while I shopped for ladies leather boots. But that was fun.
However, I must say - though I was happy with the results, the leather is much thicker than the 'stock' leather which was thin like the leather of book covers. I wanted to try it, though. It was fun!
