I finally finished a 36 of Tri-X last week and am pleased to say that, apart from one grossly underexposed frame, my exposures have improved. Composition still needs a lot of work and I'm looking forward to taking the Voightlander 40mm 1.4 Nocton SC out for a spin when it arrives.

Here are a few that I liked from this recent roll. Critique gratefully accepted. Thanks for taking time to look.

what camera was used ? M3 ?

yes its gratifying feeling when after practice and thinking first roll comes out good :)

(though, have to confess the A-mode has been set on whole this year, the few rolls I've put through my M7) :o

Hi Patti, good you're enjoying, and nice shots! What film and developer are you using?

Cheers,

Juan

Thanks. Yes, shot with my M3 and a roll of Tri-X. I have them developed at a llocal shop because I haven't learned how to develop my own yet. That's coming in May I hope. An experienced friend is going to show me the ropes then I need to get some equipment for the basement. :0)

I've got a couple of rolls of XP2 next that were a Christmas gift from a friend. I've not had much experience with Ilford film - have been shooting Arista 400 almost exclusively in my short time shooting film (Sept 09).
