Stefan, nice shot. I like how the lens looks wide open-- a retro looking softness or whatever you want to call it is definitely there.

Ok, Ok... :D
The first one is APX100 in Rodinal 1+49, the second Tri-X in Xtol1+1.
By the way, how can I put larger pictures up? And how can I make them so you don't have to click them to view the full size?

Based on your photos, what's not to like?
Well it lacks a bit of character to my eye and it takes some time to get used to short focus throw, at least for me.

Is there any focus shift associated with this lens? Most of the photos posted are either soft or missed focus at focus points...???
I seem to get sharp pics with mine, unless it's from some very dark enviroment when I cant focus properly. Maybe some sample variations?

Shot at f/2 on Provia 100F. Amazing what this lens can do if you ask me, I'm sure there are 'better' lenses but if I can get pictures like this virtually wide open on medium speed film, hand held in challenging light...What's not to like? :)
It is a great shot, Vicky, and it proves the Ultron 35mm f/1.7 is one of the best 35mm lenses around.
