Just had a confirmation from our engraver. The Rff Softie is a GO! He will probably have them done by Tuesday - baring unforseen Olympic Events of course.
E-mail Tuulikki or Stephen for ordering. Tuulikki has already collected orders from overseas. Shipping will begin as soon as they are in our hands.

Fresh from the engraver! The Rff Softie. Henley, the engraver/anodizer did a really good job on them. I think they are the best looking Softies for a long time. Part of the credit goes to Wayne Bremser for a good, clean design.
Later this year we will look at doing a couple of more of the designs, maybe in a different color - but right now it is a matter of packaging and shipping these.

Just an update, Tom told me to order directly from Stephen Gandy. So I sent an email to cameraquest with my request for two classic RFF softies. Hopefully it wont be too long before they are ready or can be shipped. I have been holding off buying one for my M4-2 to get one of the RFF copies.

The RFF softies are selling faster than expected, and the classics are selling faster than the Mini's.

So - order before the first run becomes a sold out collectible!

Tom has them at Rapidwinder.com. My shipment will arrive in a week or so from Tom, see http://cameraquest.com/voigtMSR.htm And Tony Rose at Popflash.com will also have a few available.

Only 99 of each size were produced world wide.

Woohoo. They just came in.

As much as I like the design, I'd still prefer a silver field with black lettering for the chrome M's.

Maybe I should start shopping for a black paint M to match these rff softies.

I'm putting gaffers tape on mine to protect the investment (I have 2% of world stock). Or a Luigi leather soft release case.

LMAO! I actually took a black marking pen and blacked out the RFF logo. I don't want to attract attention on the street, now it's a stealth soft release. I own a combined 1.01% of the combined softie and mini-softie market.

All kidding aside, both of mine look great (arrived yesterday)! Thanks again for getting these made and shipped!

Kent

ps- Yes, I am kidding about the blacking out :)

Mine arrived a couple of days back. The design is great and they're beautifully made. I too am new to using softies I see their advantages. However regardless of whether I use them in the long haul I'm glad to have them for their street cred alone.

Maybe we should come up with a secret handshake too? <g>
