Some of you may be aware that the above camera is currently for sale at Ebay. Despite repeated emails, the seller is not replying to my questions. be careful.
Always approach such rare cameras on Ebay with a healthy dose skeptacism. Their rarity and high price makes them popular with unscrupulous sellers in posting fakes or hijacked listings for sale.
Hmm, I think this is a case for Inspector Clouseau. No reserve, no replies, no history of expensive items in feedback. Kato, these facts are most troubling !
I agree with you guys!
Almost always they take photos from famous Auction houses, stay away!

The total lack of communication from the seller worried me - how else could one check the provenance? Also, the bids went a bit haywire at one stage - it looked as though some bids had been retracted. It would be really nice to hear from the person who apparently purchased the camera - where are you?

EBay have now removed this item from their listings. The feedback from the 'purchaser' states: The seller used stolen pictures & description from eBay user "isellari". Beware!!
LET'S BE CAREFULL OUT THERE!
