A 35/100 finder came my way recently for the C3, so now I'm on the hunt for the Sandmar 35. Any idea on the value of these things (cased)? They haven't been on my watch list long enough for me to sort out the ebb and flow of bay prices. How about user experience?

Check this link weekly until you catch one at a price you can afford :)

It's an okay lens; definitely an f8 kind of deal, if you know what I mean. I took the following picture with one:

I wouldn't spend more than $30 on it, especially considering you already have the viewfinder. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the response HD. My C3 is great fun to use, untill I viewed my negatives. Your flickr photos gave me reason to reevaluate. I've already CLA'd a few. Maybe I should treat it with a bit more respect.

I use the Petri Tele-Wide finder with my Sandmar 35 on a Matchmatic. I think I paid around $13 + shipping for the lens:

I paid $5 for the Sandmar 100. Made in the "US Occupied Zone".
