Photos of our (late) cat Hoover, from Advent 2007.
Taken with 1932 Leica D (s/n 77xxx) and nickel Elmar 5 cm, (s/n 77xxx)
( I'm pretty certain I was shooting wide-open, hand-held.)

Sorry about your cat. Interesting effect with the lens. I used to have a Yashikor (their cheaper line of lenses) 28mm SLR lens that I thought was bad for flare. It didn't do that. But it did have its moments with light directly into the lens.
I like the first photo: it has a very warm feeling to it
Nice shots. Glow helped here.

What a lovable cat. I am sorry for your loss. We got our first cat as soon as we were married, and he loved Christmas. Lost him over 12 years ago. He would bury himself in Christmas paper and wear the bows.

He was a sweet guy... a victim of kitty renal failure at 8 years. :(
This was from my first Christmas with the Leica, and on a whim, I decided to take some shots Christmas morning, still in my PJs.
This lens is fairly hazy, but I'm a bit reluctant to have it cleaned...
Maybe I'll shoot some of my Summars this Christmas, and if I get some glow, I'll send the Elmar for a CLA....
