Batteries for Leica M5

Can anyone please tell me wich one is the best battery and or adapter to use in a leica M5, instead of the Mercury batteries?

Good question...although surprisingly posted in a thread dealing with a Minolta camera and its corresponding products. I do not have an answer for you but would suggest one of the Leica threads might provide you with some measure of satisfaction.
