View Full Version : Microsoft is GIVING AWAY Money Again with Ebay Rebates!
Rebates vary over time, but today I got a 8% Paypal rebate back on an Ebay purchase by using Bing.com to find a Ebay Buy-it-now item, and they paying by Paypal.
Its nice how Bill Gates' philanthropy can filter down like this to the every day ebayer -- not that it will ever make any difference at all in the outcome of the Bing vs Google battle.
I have a feeling it isn't Bill Gates' own philanthropic pockets that is paying for these rebates!
Still not a good enough reason to get me back on Eprey.
This has been going on for probably a year. It's been at 8% for quite some time. Many months ago it was 20-30% for a short while. Max rebate $200.
Man... I hopped on board when it was 30% and have been using it ever since. It's not just ebay either... a lot of sellers offer some kind of bing cashback. I ordered my Canon 7D from Adorama because I was able to get 11% back from bing. ...the trick was to search, "crumpler camera bag" on bing and then click through to adorama. Once you click through to ebay or other sites, then you are free to browse the items and get the cashback. When it was 30%, some ebay sellers marked up their items knowing about bing cashback, even stating it in their auction and providing instructions.
