Thank you Leica M2 Fan but I really don't think After Henri should be here.As an example of (good) image manipulation maybe, but apart from the fresh faces the rest is Cartier Bresson's original photograph. I really don't want to take the credit for HIS work. I posted it because I thought a few of you might find it amusing.

One of the "indulgences" that I allow myself each Sunday or Monday, if the time is available, is to go to the RF gallery and click on "7 days" of recent photos. I go to the end and work to forward page by page opening photos in separate new tabs that catch my until I reach the present. After opening dozens of photos that caught my eye, I review the photos I've opened and I close the ones that don't fair well upon closer scrutiny. Before starting the cutting and pasting task of creating my post for this weeks Gallery picks thread, I go back through the photographs I selected, YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS, and I marvel at the things that I find in your photos, i.e., you ability to see, humor, compassion, sensuality, and love.

Thank you sharing your photographs. You photos bring joy to my life.

Funny you should say that Jay. I perform more or less the same ritual and in the same order, come the end of the week. It is a most gratifying experience. It makes me want to become a better photographer, no shadow of a doubt.

Yes! It's too bad some members decided to stop posting to the gallery here and now only link to their Flickr sites and so on. We all miss out.

I find the Gallery one of the chief attractions of RFF. The standards have always been high but it has really excelled of late. Photography is one big learning curve and theres alot that can be learnt by going through the weeks photo postings.

I hope I am improving for the experience
