im curious on everyones thoughts on this in single coat vs normal coating.
i shoot about 75% positives 24% black and white the rest color negative.

how does the single coat perform on positive films?

It would "soften" the contrast slightly. The difference is not that big with color - though I have only shot a couple of rolls with that film. 99.99% of my shooting is with bl/w film. were the SC version gives a bit more details in the shade - but the price is a bit more "flare" in the highlights.
