Hi guys, I have just started to use Leica and this is my first roll of film. I started with slide film first to see how this camera and lens can produce works. After i developed and got my film back, then i scanned with the Nikon coolscan with transparency film adapter so i could just put the mounted film directly.

After i got the files, they were not like what i expected, the color was not vivid that much and the brightness was too dark so i adjusted a little bit in Photoshop. Then i checked again, i still felt that they were not sharp enough like what i expected, everything in the pictures were look like they had an aura on each object.

I dont have any filters to put on the lens yet, but i will put just UV protection on it soon. Am i doing anything wrong?

I also attach the file before getting rid of aura and after.

I think you may have scanned your film backwards? That would give you the 'halo' / 'aura' you describe. Try and flip one over and scan it again, see if that works for you.

kzphoto, if you said that i might scan backward, that means I need to flip horizontally my scanned pictures after i got them, right? I didnt need to do that after i got the files I wanted but i can try again to make sure. Thanks and i will let u know asap.
