nikon ls 1000-plug

hi,


i have come into possession of a nikon ls-1000 scanner,
tho, it has no ac plug.

does anyone know where i can purchase one, or a alternative?

I don't know about your scanner but I know the later models like the LS-8000 that I have all use a standard computer AC cord. Pretty much all PCs and monitors all use the same type of plug to connect the AC cord to the machine, and the Nikon scanners i have seen use that same cord. Totally interchangeable. You might look to see if yours does. If so, the cords are available at Walmart, Best Buy, Office Depot, etc. for very little money....probably $8.

This is a standard AC power cord consisting of a C13 on one end (device) and a 5-15P on the other (wall outlet).
Yank one from out of the back of a piece of equipment that you’re not using temporarily or get thee to Radio Shack or a retail electronics/electrical supply distributor and buy yourself a new one.

been advised it may be too problematic, with a missing scsi cable, and
also i would have to use a usb converter for computer which
might not work too efficiently.

i may just save up for an more modern nikon scanner.
