I seem to remember that I saw them carried at Kinokuniya here in NYC when their store was near Rockefeller Center. I remember they had a whole section of camera magazines. Now they are across the street from Bryant Park on 6th Ave. You could try contacting them directly by phone.

They have a website (http://bookweb.kinokuniya.co.jp/indexohb.cgi?AREA=03), but I am not sure how successful it is to search with English for a Japanese language publication (if it is a Japanese language publication.)

I may be in that part of town next week. I am not totally familiar with the magazine though, so if you post some sample covers, perhaps I can check. Or I can just snap a photo of their photo rack.

Edit: I realize I am being vague, but it was several years ago that I was in the magazine section and that was at a different location. And I don't think that Kinokuniya will be a bargain either.

How about Kinokuniya Bookstore? I've never done this myself as we have a retail store in town, but looks like they have online store as well.

http://www.kinokuniya.com/ (quite horrible website, I must say :P)

Australia is listed there. Canada is not, but the USA store might accept orders from Canada.

Dirk at Japan Exposures can certainly source these books for you. I have no idea what he charges though.
