View Full Version : For the M9 Apple lovers . . .
I ran across this (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m8-forum/96795-m9-spotted-leica-youtube-video.html) forum post over on the l-camera-forum about spotting the M9 in a video. Everyone knows about the 09.09.09 reference and the M9.
Then . . . I came across this (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/08/31/apple-issues-invitations-for-september-9th-media-event/) bit of information on MacRumors concerning an Apple event on the same day . . .
. . . iLeica
:D
Just trying to get everyone going. I am, of course, joking :P

Great. Two of the most overpriced companies teaming up. I can only see this ending in tears for the consumer.
The M9 is in that video.

If you look at the 53-59 second mark. It shows what looks like an M8.2 with black paint finish. An ISO button where Protect should be. And 1/4000 maximum shutter speed, then A, but no "S" setting.
From evidence. It's looking to be more of an M8.3
Apple and Leica are not conspiring. Apple is releasing iTunes 9 which is supposed to have a slew of new revolutionary features. And Leica is supposedly announcing an M9. It's just coincidence.

I can finally have a webcam on my M(whatever number they decide to use). The one option that was lacking in previous offerings.
Yes. I believe Steve Jobs flew to Germany in his personal spaceship and purchased Leica. I'm holding out for the Blueberry M9. . . er Blueberry iM9. Hopefully the power light will pulse denoting that it is asleep.
I love the serious tone people get when it comes to joking around. :D

The new built-in Apple laptop camera uses a Leica lens...
Apple designs the Leica camera UIs (remember that white "Snow Leopard" M8?)...
The new 9-9-09 Leica camera comes with iTunes installed so you can have your own photography soundtrack...

You mean the companies that offer the most value for the money?
