Looking for a name of artist

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to remember the name of a photographer/artist who had a Chelsea-NY exhibition probably around ten years ago?
He/she had an entire gallery of big color prints consisting of close up shots of human skin. Male female old young-some hairy, moles, freckles etc.
Sounds bad, but actually they were rather interesting: Very detailed abstract images.
Does this ring a bell?
